To the extent that he equates, say, tolerance of homosexuality with relativism or radical individualism, there's a problem. Most christians that think homosexuality is fine don't do so out of relativism or tolerance; they do it because they think it's morally acceptable. And that's an objective fact.<BR/><BR/>So the problem I see is that Ratzinger is just going to dismiss these Christians out of hand, rather than engage them critically.
