Stay away from Office 2007

If you buy the new Office 2007 from Microsoft, there's a good chance the spell check won't work at all. If you want to fix it it will cost you another $50 to have Microsoft fix the software that they already sold to you.

It's a good thing I'm not a lawyer. This seems actionable.

Sigh.

What kinda nonsense you talkin' bout? My spell check works fine.

If it didn't you would get no help from Microsoft.

In order to fix the spell check on Office 2007 you have to go into regedit and rename a key, on your own, with no help from Microsoft.

I don't mind that the software didn't work right. That's not a suprise. It's that the company that made it and sold it to me doesn't seem to care.
