Saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire tonight.
I'm not a Potter book devotee so I'm not the best judge but my wife is and she was disappointed.
There was a lot of action at the expense of dialogue, relationship and character. Good for the eye, thin for the soul.
My wife loves the friendship between these characters in the books and she felt it was in scant supply in the film.
It must be difficult given the detailed world of Hogwarts to do justice to the original article (as opposed to Narnia which I'll post momentarily).
Still I liked it as much as the other Potter films which is fairly well. I'll bet it appeals more to men than women.
My Rating: Rentable
